Classic Rock/Blues/R&B working band seeks bass

Description

Midnight Hour, a classic rock, blues, R&B band is looking for a bass player. We rehearse in Everett and play anywhere folks will have us. For actual money! Although we do about three charity gigs a year. In general we play about three weekends a month, sometimes two, occasionally 4. We rehearse on Sundays on the weekends we don't gig. We have been very active for the last three months since things have opened back up and have gigs scheduled for December and January but are taking a hiatus in November to regroup. We are at the point where many bars are contacting us rather than the other way around. I love it when that happens! We are usually a six piece band: Female lead vocals, drums, keys, guitar, and sax. And hopefully YOU on bass. We do a fair amount of Janis Joplin. We range in age from 28 to 72. We like each other and support each other. We also enjoy long walks on the beach, smores, and wombat juggling. OK, I just made that bit up. It's illegal to juggle wombats in the U.S. Plus, they bite. We don't drink prior to or during gigging but if you indulge afterward, that's cool; some of us do, some don't. If you feel you have to have a drink or two or seven before playing or during playing to "loosen" you up or because it makes you "play better" we probably won't be a good fit for you. Everyone sings either a bit of lead or harmony except the drummer so if you can sing a titch that would be awesome but not a deal breaker. You can hear our music at Http://www.reverbnation.com/MidnightHourRnB/songs These are older recordings but still representative of what we do. We look forward to hearing from soon and thanks for reading. Oh, a good sense of humor is a plus too.
