Violinist/Fiddler seeking Same

Retired gentleman, married, seeking a fiddle/violin playing friend to play weekly to improve skills and to enjoy playing music. I live in Albany and seeking someone within a 30 mile radius of Albany, likely in Albany, Corvallis, Salem, Lebanon, etc. I would enjoy playing for an hour or more weekly on preselected tunes. Exchange tunes to practice in advance, play them, and perfect our playing. Not specifically seeking to perform in public. I am available during the day, weekends, and, perhaps, evenings to fit your schedule. We can alternate where we play or play at my home in Albany. I’ve been playing violin for about seven years, taken both private and group lessons, and played violin in performance with community orchestras and string ensembles. I consider myself @intermediate in level. I play mainly from sheet music but would like to improve my ear/memory playing skills. I enjoy old time/traditional, Celtic, popular, show tunes, folk, gospel, and contra dance tunes. I also enjoy playing light classical pieces and duets.
