Guitar, bass, drums and keys are in the early stages of developing original rock songs. We have been jamming for a few weeks and have some rough song structures we are working on, but we would like to add a singer so we can get lyrics down and finalize the song structures. Our ages range from 30-55, and we are all pretty easy going and get along well. We are just having fun creating original music that we are proud of and enjoy playing. While we are hopeful that a singer will participate in the collaborative nature of the songs to whatever degree he would like, we would prefer not having someone respond claiming that he has a whole bunch of songs and is looking for a band to play them--anything you want to bring to the group is great, but the goal is not to be a backing band. We want this to be a group effort as much as possible so everyone has buy in. We are all decent musicians but not professional by any means—creativity is really what we are looking for. If this sounds interesting, we would love to hear from you. And if you play an instrument, even better.
