We are looking for a home for a 4 year old special needs Aussie. She is partially deaf. She does well with our kids but she will bark at new people when they come in the house but will snuggle up on the couch after she calms down. Loves to play ball! She is not aggressive! If someone puts their hand out to her she will give a kiss never a bite. She loves all size dogs, male or female and needs to be with at least 1 other dog. Probably not cat friendly but we don’t have one- she did catch a chicken once. Didn’t hurt it but did carry it around. She is potty trained. No food or chew aggression. We tried to crate train but she hurts her nose trying to break out and she doesn’t destroy things so we let her sleep in the livingroom or a bedroom. We will ensure she goes to a home who has dealt with a partially deaf dog or aussies in general. She does need to be fixed which we can cover if you go to my vet. Please don’t flag our post.
