really looking for a female singer/acoustic guitar player to round out a 4 piece band doing country music, americana and some folk or any music that is complimentary to the Band. The players are well seasoned and have played for years. There are too many great female artists and great songs to let pass by. If you can accompany yourself on guitar while you sing then you can do this. This is a new project and thinking of getting all on board as we start this. Playing could be 2 to 3 times a month and in Des Moines and some surrounding suburbs. Ideally we could work in one night a week for a couple hours for learning new tunes. No big problem if someone can't make a practice on a given week but its a framework we want to do. We all have other interests so we don't want to be tied to playing every week. The best thing to do is respond back and I can give you some more information and we can talk about your expectations and experience. We do have connections on gigs and places we've previously played. Thanks and hope for some replies.
