So much silliness! • Your doltish picture suggests Democrats are disproportionately attracted to "free stuff." One ponders how much of that fat stimulus check President Trump sent you that you had no need for you mailed back to the IRS? hmmm We are all greedy and selfish to different extents. It has nothing to do with politics, religion, class, race, social status, age or any other factor. It probably was an early human survival strategy. • You lament blacks being attracted to liberal politics, then call them by a disparaging, offensive name. Duh! You even have the audacity to use a Republican Party metaphor (chicken-Colonel Sanders) used by black activists to describe their attraction to the Democratic Party against said party. • Your one salient point (the ballooning of the deficit) was obscured by your deliberate omission of the Republican strategy of allowing the middle and lower classes to saddle the tax burden of the obscenely rich. Here's a thought. Instead of nation splitting, why not go for a walk this fine autumn time of the year and meet some Democrats and some people of color. Make an oath to self to adamantly refuse to discuss politics or race, only to listen. Find out what their hopes and dreams in life are, what troubles them. Then, at this holiday time of the year, go to the deep inner city Philadelphia and volunteer to help serve food to the poor and mentally ill. If you do these things, you will gain a new perspective about what it means to be an American, and realize that half of America are NOT your enemy. One old man's opinion.
