Frenchie/Pug mix looking for new home

Description

Oliver, also known by many nicknames, is a brindle 11 month old 50/50 mix of pug & Frenchie. He was born on December 27th and has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old. Oliver has the energy you would imagine any puppy to have, but times it by at least 5. He loves attention and is very very treat motivated (aren’t we all?). His favorite treats are green apples and baby carrots, especially if they’re frozen! But he also loves cheese and small pieces of hot dogs. He is crate trained and knows how to use a doorbell when he wants to go outside. He loves a good chew toy and balls are his favorite, although they’re no match for him and he will destroy them pretty quick, so you have to keep lots of them on hand. He can sit on command as well as stay, especially during meal times until he gets his release word which is “go”, so original right? Now while Oliver is adorable and his snoring is the cutest thing ever, he does have some quirks that need fine tuning. He is currently intact and would benefit from being neutered soon because he has dominant traits and has taken into marking his territory lately. Because of his breed he does need to have his wrinkles on his face cleaned out daily (I do it twice a day just to keep them dry) and his ears once a week to make sure there’s no yeast build up. He does not like his nails trimmed so he needs to be taken to the groomers every 2-3 weeks to have them clipped, if not, he will chew them himself. He also gets two Benadryl tabs a day to keep his allergies in check. He has done well with our 8 year old daughter, but with typical puppy energy I wouldn’t recommend him to go to a home with children younger than 10 if possible just because of how dominant and “in your face” he can be. He is very people friendly but when it comes to other dogs he very much has an alpha personality so we haven’t been able to socialize him too much aside from the few dogs that he has known since he was a puppy. He is UTD on his shots and is on the seresto collar for fleas/ticks. He will come with his crate, whatever food he’s got left and however many balls are alive by the time he finds a new home. Rehoming him was not something we ever planned on doing and I just want to make sure he goes to a home that will love him and his quirks forever. I would like someone that is willing to send us updates on him and keep us in the loop every once in a while.
