Hello, we are a high-end door supply and installation company focused primarily on projects in Manhattan for luxury residential buildings, retail stores, restaurants, schools, and hotels. We are looking to hire a window and door installer for the NYC installation team. The technician will primarily be responsible for the installation and repair of custom aluminum, glass, and metal doors. Candidate must possess: - Knowledge and experience in the installation and repair of frameless glass, revolving and aluminum doors and storefronts. - Knowledge and experience in the installation of door hardware including door closers, panic devices, hinges and pivots. - Knowledge and experience of installation of power operators and automatic door closers. - Knowledge of all hand tools and basic power tools. - Basic knowledge of both high and low voltage electrical work. - Proven supervision and organizational skills. - Both verbal and written English language skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Legal working status. - Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This position is within our Door Installers Team, which may require periods of standing, kneeling, walking, bending, lifting, and/or otherwise handling of materials which may include partially or fully assembled units. Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials as heavy as 75 lbs. individually and/or units exceeding 75 lbs. via “Team-Lift” operation. This job includes working from ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, or other complex locations for periods of time. Most of the work is performed outdoors. Salary will be determined based upon experience with substantial room for growth. This is a full-time position. Monday - Friday. Some Saturdays required. This is a long-term, full-time position that offers a highly attractive compensation package including health insurance with vision and dental insurance, and paid vacation. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
