Singer/guitarist looking for musicians to start a rock band

I just moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn area from San Diego, California and I'd like to meet some likeminded artists to start a new band. I've been playing guitar and bass for 10+ years and I'm a proficient singer. Looking for a badass drummer to start with but also open to a bass and a guitar player (or a producer) as well. Huge plus if you can help write the music with me. I have a lot of material that need to be worked on and ironed out to turn into fully fledged songs. It is hard to explain the sound I'm envisioning but it'll possibly sound like some Muse, QOTSA or Smashing Pumpkins with a pinch of garage rock bands like The White Stripes and Arctic Monkeys depending on the setup and the arrangements. I also play the bass and been toying with the idea of doing a drum and bass duo similar to Death from Above or Royal Blood. Hit me up if any of this interests you.
