Tour historic homes and buildings in Franklin and Carlisle, Ohio. Tour begins at the Harding Museum, 302 Park Ave., Franklin. Co-sponsored by the Franklin and Carlisle Area Historical Societies, this holiday tour of historic homes, museums, and churches in Franklin and Carlisle begins at the Harding Museum. The Harding has been professionally decorated for the holidays with the theme "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." The tour includes refreshments, holiday music, and carolers at various stops plus photo op areas and Santa at the Carlisle Lions Club building from 3 to 5 p.m. The Franklin Area Historical Society, founded in 1965, is devoted to preserving local history and operates two musuems, the Harding Museum and the Log Post Office.
