A walking tour of Roxbury's Nubian Square led by Live Like A Local Tours Boston. Take a walking tour of Roxbury’s Nubian Square to learn about the food, history, and culture of Roxbury’s Nubian Square led by Live Like A Local Tours Boston, featured in GBCVB’s “All Inclusive Boston” campaign encouraging residents and visitors to Boston to explore the cultural diversity of this city. The Nubian Square walking tour takes you through the epicenter of African American history and culture since the 1960s. Learn about some of Roxbury’s historical figures who fought for justice and equality for the people of this neighborhood. The tour will be led by Collin Knight, born and raised in Roxbury. Drinks and snacks from local establishments will be provided as part of the tour. Meeting Point: SHA at 11AM The group will take the BU Shuttle (Medical Campus Bus from Agganis Way to BU Medical Campus then walk about a half-mile to the meeting spot to begin the tour.)
