The Harlem Chapter cordially invites Brothers, Family & Friends as we celebrate the 95th Anniversary of the Alpha Gamma Lambda Chapter. About this event We, the Brothers of the Alpha Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, are thrilled to invite you to join us as we celebrate the 95th anniversary of The Historic Harlem Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Hosted at the GreenTree Country Club Banquet Hall In New Rochelle, New York on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 6 o’clock in the evening, the black tie occasion shall be magnified by cocktail hour complete with hors d'oeuvres , dinner, dancing and a full open bar throughout the evening. The occasion shall culminate in scholarships awarded to our Young Achievers participating in our Go-to-High School, Go-to College National Program. Our festivities will also be highlighted by our rededication to the legacy of our dear Fraternity and Historic Chapter. In honor of the contributions of Brother Jewel Vertner Woodson Tandy - the 1st Black Architect licensed in the State of New York, we the Brothers of Alpha Gamma Lambda Chapter shall humbly dedicate a plaque of honor in recognition of his historic and indelible mark on the landscape of New York City and the St. Philip Church in Harlem, USA. 100% COVID Vaccination shall be required in order to attend this celebration. Please note that Early Bird Tickets prices shall expire on December 15, 2021. In addition to scholarships, a portion of proceeds shall support our National Program Initiatives, COVID-19 Relief & Recovery, the American Cancer Society, and the Alpha Gamma Lambda Community Development Corporation, 501(c)3 Organization.
