Giving Back to the climbing community! Come join the New England Brown Girls Climb chapter, SNECC and Arc'teryx Boston in giving back to our climbing community by doing a crag clean up! We'll be focusing on removing graffiti, picking up trash and doing minor trail work. No experience required and we will provide all of the materials for the clean up! We will meet at the Great Woods parking lot and likely break up into smaller groups to work on different areas of the park. Please try to arrive on time, but if you are unable to join until later or need to leave early, let us know! This is a rain or shine event so please dress (rain jacket, rain pants, rain boots, hiking boots, etc.) accordingly and be prepared to get a little dirty with the trail work. The furthest boulder is about 35 mins away walking with other locations about ~5-15 mins away. Duties will be delegated based on accessibility needs and commitment times. AGENDA: 10:45 - 11:00 AM: Registrations, meet and greets, and supply distribution 11:00 - 11:45 AM: Intros, risk management plan, assign tasks, break up into groups 11:45 - 1:45 PM: Go to areas to clean and leave when needed. Please return items to the Arc'teryx station or the SNECC station. 1:45-2:00 PM: Closing circle and final words!
