Join Friends of Five Creeks volunteers planting natives along Berkeley's and Albany's only trout stream. Join Friends of Five Creeks volunteers planting natives along Codornices Creek, Berkeley's and Albany's only trout stream. Grade school and up welcome. We supply tools, gloves, and light snacks. Dress in layers, prepared to get dirty, and bring a re-usable water bottle. Meet at the log seating area at Sixth Street and the creek, across from 1101 Sixth, on the Berkeley/Albany border and the south edge of University Village. Allow time to find parking -- if there is no space on Sixth, try Harrison, or park on Eighth or Fifth and follow the creekside trail to Sixth. More information: fivecreeks.org, [email protected]
