About the Instructor:
The Chunky Scone is a fully vegan company that was founded in 2015 in Forest Park, Illinois. The company started in a holiday market in the neighborhood of Pilsen but now has become a small vegan company that has been serving vegans and non-vegans alike in Chicagoland and surrounding areas. The company has been doing pop-ups, farmers markets, events, workshops, and collaborations since it was founded. The Chunky Scone is headed and directed by self-taught baker and cook, Oscar Narvaez.
This workshop will take place in person at Plant Chicago's location (4459 S Marshfield Ave Chicago, IL 60609). We are limiting this workshop to 20 participants in order to ensure that proper social distancing and cleaning procedures can be followed. Attendees will be notified of final plans for the workshop at least 2 days in advance. Workshops attendees, instructor, and all Plant Chicago staff are required to wear a mask throughout the duration of the class.
