Thank you for taking time out to learn more about our FOOD for the SOUL Project and how you can partner with us in spreading some much needed love. This will be our second time with this specific project and we hope to reach more people, with more food, and more awareness with each coming year. On November 13th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we will be gathering to prep and delivery hot meals to those experiencing homelessness, drug addiction, or simply are in need of something to eat on the streets of Center City Philadelphia. At 11:00 AM, we will be meeting at REC Philly, inside of the Fashion District located at 901 Market Street on the second floor to begin prepping. During this time we will need volunteers to help set up prepping stations, then we will begin to pack platters with food and bags with necessary items. We will then begin to send out our street teams to begin serving those in need. We will have small groups of people hitting different spots of Center City to cover as much ground as possible. Once we are finished giving out all the food prepped, the task, for now, is complete. Our first year we were able to provide Thanksgiving groceries for 25 households, in addition to feeding over 100 people on the street. We’d love to do more this year with your help.
