ATP x Tufenkian Fine Arts Gallery Benefit Join us for an evening to benefit Armenia Tree Project at the Tufenkian Fine Arts Gallery in in Glendale, CA. The night will feature color displays of fine art, wine tastings from ArmAs (Armenia), Apris (Artsakh), and Aganjanian Vineyards (USA), tasty hors d'oeuvres, and much more. The presentation of wines will be hosted by Anush Gharibyan O'Connor, Director of GiniFest. Proceeds from this benefit will directly support ATP's Artsakh Greenhouse project. ATP will construct small greenhouses (30 square meters) in the backyards of 50 families in the coming months. This program will provide some economic stability and, most importantly, hope for their future. The families will receive tools, training, and vegetable seeds to grow food they can consume or sell as necessary through the greenhouse project. ATP’s partner, Green Lane NGO, will assist in training beneficiaries in greenhouse management, producing high value crops, and preparing produce for sale. Since 1994, ATP has planted 6 million trees and created hundreds of jobs in Armenia. These trees provide food, environmental benefits, and opportunities for economic growth. ATP's goal is to use trees to improve the standard of living while protecting the environment. In doing so, ATP promotes self-sufficiency and aids those with the fewest resources while conserving the indigenous ecosystem. Most importantly, ATP’s programs allow Armenians to stay on their ancestral lands.
