David Kleiss (Guitar), Hank Smith (Banjo), Jeff Garland (Drums), Lindsey Tims (Fiddle), Shawn Chase (Mandolin) and Walt Hensey (Bass) make up this Raleigh native supergroup. Compare their sound to groups and artists ranging from New Grass Revival, Bela Fleck, Sam Bush, and the David Grisman Quintet to Leftover Salmon, Tony Rice, and Mike Marshall among others. All the band members bring energetic acoustic picking to an elevated level. Collectively, they have played from coast to coast, corner to corner, and abroad; over 3,000 shows to date. They perform original music and covers, pooling their inspiration from the best of roots, reggae, and rock co-mingled with a fresh bluegrass take. With well over 20 years of shared musical endeavors, crowds are infected by the mutual love and respect these guys have for one another and for the beloved bluegrass music they perform.
