CCOF Certified Organic Lemon Farm Please read thoroughly- We are seeking a hard working laborer to help out in the following jobs below from November through May, part time. You can work your own schedule around school, family, or another job. We would always confirm the day(s) you can work and arrival time. Work is hard at times, thus, doing 4 hr. commitments 1-2X a week is fine. Less or more is ok as well. Farm is located on a steep hill, thus, work can be challenging at times. We supply all tools necessary. 1. Scraping & cutting weeds under trees, being carful not to damage drip system. 2. Spreading Organic Compost & fertilizer under Lemon Trees. a.This process is completed by taking fertilizer and compost in five gallon buckets up and down steep hills and spreading under lemon trees. 3. Weed- whacking. Experience a plus but not necessary. Detailed and challenging on steeper areas going around the lemon trees, being careful not to destroy drip lines and staying away from trunks of trees. 4. Dragging brush to a pile for a winter burn. 5. Digging holes for new trees. 6. Wrapping copper tape around base of lemon tree trunks 7. Using a pick & shovel to create more level areas around trees for picking. Must have their own reliable transportation. Experience appreciated but not necessary. Will train. -A positive can-do attitude, honesty, and openness to learn new things. Must have at least two references please. A resume is required.
