Augustana, Solo Tour with Trella ALL AGES Augustana, Dan Layus Trella Dan Layus, front man of Augustana, 2021 Tour Dan Layus has fronted Augustana as it's singer and primary songwriter since its formation in 2002. Building a dedicated following of fans off the backbone of hits like "Boston," "Sweet and Low" and "Steal Your Heart," The most recent LP release AUGUSTANA-LIVE (RECORDED FROM A LIVESTREAM EVENT) was recorded live in December of 2020 and released in March of 2021. The concert recording was a long awaited arrival for fans of the band, who'd never released a live album until that point. In a solo performance setting, Dan Layus plays through some of the most well loved music from the groups catalogue in a chronological order. The concert is intimate and authentic, nuanced and powerful. He makes the songs feel experienced and lived in, and cements a moment into a recording that mirrors what he's done on stages across the world for so many years. Facebook | Instagram | Spotify Trella Nashville based pop singer/songwriter Trella started in the music business as a songwriter, signing her first publishing deal at the age of 21. Years into her songwriting career, Trella found herself with an abundance of songs that she felt were hers to sing. Following her strong urge to become an artist, Trella has begun to pave her own path in the music industry as an indie-pop force. Trella was born and raised on the northeast coast of Florida into a musical family. When she picked up a guitar for the first time at age 9, her love for songwriting began. Growing up, Trella was influenced by classic artists like Billy Joel, The Beach Boys, and Ella Fitzgerald. As a teenager, Trella attended a liberal arts high school, where she was classically trained in voice, learned to play the piano, and was exposed to a wide range of musical genres. Shortly after graduating high school, Trella left her coastal roots behind to pursue her career in Nashville, where she signed her first publishing deal. It was in The Music City that she created the signature pop sound that is Trella. She launched her artist career with her Debut EP “Vapor” in March of 2017, followed by her second EP “Everything at Once” in September of 2018. She just released her third EP “Waiting Games” in June of 2020.
