Description

Volunteer to build a Pocket Shelter for a local Homeless Rescue Mission. Community Impact Corps and Prefab Innovations are offering you the opportunity to build homeless shelters which benefit Homeless Rescue Missions across the Valley. Churches, organizations, and individuals will have the chance to sponsor and build units which will be delivered to the Lighthouse Rescue Mission (Tulare), Kings Gospel Mission (Hanford) and Fresno Rescue Mission (Fresno). Churches and organizations who are sponsoring units will build for their specific city. Individuals who volunteer will build units that will be delivered to either Tulare, Hanford or Fresno. The Opportunity: You help build units in a Fresno FactoryUnits are delivered to the Homeless Missions in Tulare, Hanford and Fresno. Tools and equipment are provided day of serviceWork Packages are lead by a foreman Pocket Homes = Immediate Emergency Shelters Who Can Help? All trades needed (Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, etc.) Individuals who can cook, clean and serve Must complete a Liability FormOnly volunteers 16 and older may participate.Please contact (559)582-3871 if you need on-site childcare or are willing to provide onsite childcare.
