I realized that after having gone through many things in my life that it is time for me to help others. Though my life has been anything but awesome, I found serenity in the calm of the storm. With every storm, there is a crisis. Every crisis opens the door for creativity. God has blessed my hands, which is another serenity, to produce an abundance of creative goods. In the midst of all of the turmoil, I found that God still loves me (Jeremiah 31:3) and that He still calls me His Virtuous Daughter (Proverbs 31:10-31). What I have learned is that NO MATTER what lemons life as thrown at me, I made the best lemonade (the goods that He blessed me to produced) ever. He taught me that regardless of where I failed, where I have fallen, no matter how many times I have sinned, no matter who else doesn’t love me, no matter who else doesn’t find me worthy, no matter who says they love me because, no matter who, what, when, where, how and why (all conditions), HE TRULY LOVES Him some ALL of ME. These are all conditions that He NEVER based his love for me on. I realized that I can NEVER lose His love. Out of this Sisters With Purpose was birthed. I am a Proverbs 31 woman and wife. Although there are many mentions of godly women throughout the bible, the virtuous woman is praised for her superior merits and receives special praise. She was a known as a wife and mother. BUT, where did she start? She had to come from somewhere. Although the bible makes no mention of her beginning, it is safe to say that she had a start in life like many of us. She was born of two parents, she had to grown somewhere, she learned how to work with her hands to be self sufficient enough to take care of her affairs for her household, she didn’t play games, she was trustworthy, she was industrious, she was financially wise, and she knew how to prioritize. Above all of this, she sought and reverenced God and put Him first. A Little Fun Facts About Me: I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have earned my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. I have also earned my Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology. I am currently working on a second Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Certified Rehabilitation Counseling. I AM Counselor.
