Lisa Freeman guides a family-friendly neighborhood litter walk for 120 minutes, followed by a celebration at Leo. a Public House
Friends of the Riverfront & Allegheny Cleanways are hosting a series of family-friendly Riverfront & Neighborhood Litter Walks this Autumn. Volunteers will be fully equipped to safely collect litter while following a local guide and learning a slice of Pittsburgh's rich history. After the Litter Walk, we celebrate at a nearby pub or community gathering space.
On Saturday, November 13th, at 11:00am, we will will be guided by Lisa Freeman, owner of Freeman Family Farm through her neighborhood of Manchester. After two hours of collecting, we'll follow our efforts with a drink and a bite at Leo. a Public House, an award-winning new restaurant & bar.
Friends of the Riverfront is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building, maintaining, and stewarding safe, clean, and accessible trails as a part of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail system to create an outstanding experience for all trail users while providing economic, environmental, and health benefits to the Pittsburgh region.
