Holiday Open House with Tours at Historic Ard Godfrey House Visit the oldest remaining wood frame residence in Minneapolis, built in 1849. The house is decorated for the holidays in the modest style of the era.Enjoy a guided tour of the charming house with docents dressed in 1850s period costumes.See how the Godfrey family might have celebrated the holidays in the new community at St. Anthony Falls.Free Godfrey House buttons for the kids.Cookies and apple cider in the kitchen.ADMISSION FREE - donations suggested.Restored by The Woman's Club of Minneapolis, the house has been open to the public since 1979.Guided tours available every 10 minutes. Guests must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask. Guests under the age of 12 are not required to provide proof of vaccination.The Ard Godfrey House is partially accessible on the main floor, but has the restrictions of a historic home.
