Hello, my name is Nico and my owner is looking for a loving home for me. I am a wonderful bird and I am very sad to have to re-home, but unfortunately the time commitment is too much for my person. I want to be in a family that can take the time to be with me very often. I need to be out of my cage at least five hours a day and need to have engaged play time for at least two. I am just a year old and I love to play and be out of my cage. My favorite spot to be is on your shoulder or head! I am calm around older children and adults but little timid with small children. I eat Harrison’s bird pellets as my main food but also enjoy occasional seeds and millet spray (eating more than a small bit of millet and seeds every day is very unhealthy for me!). I will currently eat a very limited amount of vegetables (my favorite being spinach) but I need to get used to eating a variety and a lot of veggies every day. My owner will provide my starting food, beautiful A&E cage, a large awesome play gym, and toys for me. All of this together was over $1000 (including me) and she is just asking $500 to cover some of the cost to re-home.
