Join Downingtown Area School District, the Downingtown Educational Foundation and SAVE: Suicide Awareness Voices of Education. All DASD families are invited to listen and learn about the importance of mental health, mental wellness and suicide prevention in our lives. “Let’s Talk About It” is a community program developed by Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE). The goals of this program are to raise awareness, encourage conversations and create actions that support our students. This program will begin with a complimentary dinner and resource fair, followed by a nationally–renowned keynote speaker, and both adult and youth panels. This free event is open to the public and is designed to provide knowledge, understanding and answers your family’s questions. Join us at Downingtown High School West on December 7th. The dinner and resource fair will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:00 pm.
