South End Youth Basketball is returning for its 7th season. We have three divisions again: ages 4-6 (co-ed), ages 7-9 (co-ed) and ages 10-12 (co-ed). We are again partnering with Cathedral High School, an independent, co-ed, 7th through 12th grade Catholic High School in Boston’s Historic South End. · When: Sunday December 5th – March 10th (off on Christmas (12/19 and 12/26), New Year’s (1/2) and MLK weekend (1/16)) · Sunday’s: 3:00pm – 7:30pm · Ages: 4-6 (3:00-4:00pm), 7-9 (4:15-5:45pm), 10-12 (6:00-7:30pm) = > ages as of December 1st · Where: Cathedral High School (South End) – 74 Union Park Street – Parking is available Who: Coed (All Skill levels)Mask wearing by all players and coaches will be strictly enforced per City of Boston Rules. We are going to start off the season by having ONLY players and coaches in the gym and will adjust as the season progresses.Please register and pay online (click the link) at South End Youth Basketball League - Cathedral 7-12 High School Boston (cathedralhighschool.net)Please email [email protected] your child’s DOB, grade and school after you have completed registration. Skills Clinics - At the request of our returning families, we will also be offering additional skills clinics for our older divisions. Typically the skills clinics will run on Thursdays at 7:30 pm at Cathedral, however the days may change based on Cathedral’s basketball schedule. Weeknight clinics are purely optional and not required to be part of the program. Details to follow. · Cost: $300/child (includes full uniform) – (Scholarships are available). · Please consider making an additional donation to further support Cathedral High School’s students. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds will go toward Cathedral High School’s Tuition Assistance and Athletic Programs. · Each 90-minute session (for age 7-9 and 10-12 division) will include a clinic run by Cathedral Varsity High School Boys & Girls Basketball team members and a game. Age 4-6 will be a clinic only. · The league sold out two years ago and we expect to do the same this year. Please reserve a spot quickly! ---- Matt Friedman and Tim Head
