Description
HAMDEN, CT — A house was struck by bullets fired from a car on Fourth Street in Hamden on Friday evening, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Fourth Street near Warren Street around 5:30 p.m. on the report of shots fired, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Dolan said an investigation found that a person in a red/maroon Acura (late 1990s – early 2000s model) with tinted windows fired a handgun from the car.
A house on Fourth Street was struck during the gunfire, according to Dolan.
Dolan said a resident was inside the room that was hit by the bullet, but wasn't struck. No injuries were reported.
Ballistic evidence was recovered at the crime scene, according to Dolan.
