Brass/Horn Person

In search of a Saxophone/Brass player. Loose “just wing it” type of player. Bring a horn friend too if you’d like! My newly formed band (May 2021) and I are dying to see how a saxophone/brass section of any size would fit in the songs we have been practicing. NO COMMITMENT INVOLVED as of yet. We would just like to invite someone to 1 practice as an “experiment”. - THE BAND- There are 6 of us. 2 guitars, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocalist/harmonica. Ages- 27, 38, 54 and two 60+ year olds. We learn a few songs, then play an open mic. Then go home early. We have done one “soft gig”. I rented out an American Legion and we all invited friends and family. It was good fun. THE SONGS- We have a horn section wish list of songs, but we feel we already have a handful that are screaming “give me a horn!” I have some videos of us practicing I can send you, and a full set list of what we have learned and what we are currently working on. OUR GOALS- → We are a wicked chill group of laid back guys, no egos, nice to each other, have some laughs, we aren't in the mood to gig every weekend, BUT still have some fuel in the tank. We go to an open mic once a month, do 3 or 4 songs, blow peoples mind away with some recently WELL rehearsed and liked jams, then sit, have a few beers and call it a night! Where and When- We Practice once a week in Wakefield, MA, right off of the highway. Usually Mon or Tues. 7-9pm. Music- -Blues, Classic Rock, Skynyrd, Stray Cats, Aerosmith, J Geils Band, Rolling Stones- reach out and I'll share setlists and videos of us jamming so you get a feel. Dust the cobwebs off your brass and Hit me up.. You could end up having fun!
