Hi There! My name is Lea and I am a vocalist and music educator. Looking for fun, personalized piano or singing lessons for yourself or your child? I offer high quality one-to-one instruction for students ages 5 and up. All are welcome. EMAIL TO SET UP A FREE 20 MINUTE TRIAL LESSON It's important to find a teacher that is a good fit both in terms of personality and teaching approach. I have been teaching music lessons for kiddos and adults since 2007. I am certified in the Harmony Road Music method for teaching group piano to younger children. I apply many of the techniques used in this method to teaching individual lessons to beginner students. This involves a lot of clapping, singing and improvisation! I earned my Masters degree in Jazz Studies Vocal Performance from the University of North Texas, and my BA in Music, Voice emphasis from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I also have years of experience leading a band as a singer-songwriter and have written, recorded and released two albums. My older students have been cast in leading roles of high school and community musical theater productions, have been accepted as voice majors at colleges of their choice, sing professionally in cover bands and in church services, and also sing just for fun!
