Hazel Gray Veterans Foundation is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our board of directors is comprised of individuals with strong personal and professional ties to our nations military. The foundation aims to support active duty military service members, veterans and their families by engaging in dynamic projects and innovative  programming. Though the foundation's mission is to advocate for mental health of the most vulnerable populations, we place special emphasis on those impacted by military service. Philanthropic efforts include but, are not limited to psycho-education, consultation, outpatient mental health treatment with a strong focus on trauma and suicide awareness/ prevention, advocacy, housing, and community engagement and outreach. We actively seek partnership opportunities and network development. Our board embodies the Navy core values of honor, courage and commitment and draw upon those tenets to support our missions purpose. We also own a telemental health private mental health practice called Hampton Roads Trauma and Recovery Treatment Center that specializes in trauma informed mental health outpatient treatment services that is an active subsidiary. We are just getting started and use help in multiple areas! We are looking for individuals that can dedicate some of time and expertise in marketing, crowdfunding on social media, fundraising, cold call donor solicitation, grant writing efforts, and much much more! If you an advocate for the military population and seeking ways to give back, we are open to whatever way you feel you can support! There will be opportunities to serve on our board!
