I'm looking for a crafty guitarist to join our hobby band who is interested in spending time in the studio working up original and cover tunes and maybe working towards an album release or two while kicking extended jams and sipping ipa's. Influences are broad.. just not too heavy. Medeski Martin and Wood, Talking Heads, James Brown, KDTU, Funkadelic, Dead, Phish, Stevie Wonder, Dirty Dozen, Galactic, etc. Sure Stones, Clapton, Beatles, Doobies, Floyd, Bee Gees, a jazz piece or two, it's all good. We'll definitely play some epic shows for parties and occasional gigs but probably next year. Hoping you have decent skills and gear and wheels and do some homework and can pick up riffs quick enough, but you don't have to be pro, just creative. Ongoing weekly rehearsals. We have a dedicated rehearsal space with sound set up and multitrack recording. We'll take on your originals. Send some links please.
