All applicants must apply through this link to fill out an application. ***Please click on this link to apply The position of Property Maintenance Technician is a full-time position that reports directly to the General Manager. One room rent free and $12 per hour wage in exchange for services. The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep of the entire 136 room hotel property. You must be able to perform minor basic repairs that may include, but are not limited to: painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, and equipment installation. You are responsible for providing your own tools. You must be able to establish good communication and professional relationships with property guests. The Property Maintenance Technician must be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written. You are REQUIRED TO LIVE ON PROPERTY during the term of employment and is required to be on call for emergency situations. In addition, the Property Maintenance Technician will function as overnight on call Property Attendant two nights each week as determined by the General Manager. Essential Functions: - Ensure that grounds are clean and free of clutter by picking up trash and debris - Ensure that the building is properly maintained by cleaning siding and walkways - Ensure that vacant rooms are in good repair, including but not limited to walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, and cabinets - Perform preventive maintenance of guest rooms on a scheduled basis - Knowledge of security and safety equipment including location and operation - Notify Supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations - Notify Supervisor of any guest concerns - Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor prior to end of shift - Respond to all emergency calls in a timely manner - Perform functions as outlined in Courtesy Officer Job Description and Maintenance Technician Schedule and Duty Agreement - Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor - Requires regular lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, as well as frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling.
