Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel, I made it out of...a marble, a CD, and a bottle cap. What will you make yours out of? Who will spin the longest?! HEY, this is going to GIMEL you the most fun you've had at an event, bar NUN! SCRAP invites you to our first ever DIY dreidel challenge!! A few weeks back we challenged our education specialist to make a dreidel out of SCRAP bits to teach as a workshop. She came up with so many creative ideas that we decided it would be more fun to see what you dream up! We'll start off with a brief tutorial on her CD based prototype, (because boy that baby can spin!) and then open up flood gates for all of you to explore as many dreidel shapes and sizes as you can dream up. Longest spinner wins a $25 material donation to the non-profit or charity of their choice! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community.
