ADU Resource Center is seeking a licensed, hard-working, and organized General Contractor to support the development of Accessory Dwelling Units. A hirable applicant must have superior Subs and a solid, reliable, and talented network or workers; must be familiar with, design, construction, client management, tech savvy, comfortable and knowledgable in using a CRM system to manage clients. Daily responsibilities will be a variety of complex tasks including, but not limited to administrative, analytical, and project management. Must have the follow attributes: -Able to use considerable independent judgement, thought and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations. -Knowledge in all aspects of residential construction including site work, foundations, utilities, and home construction needed. -Experience calling for inspections and obtaining permits with a variety of different local jurisdictions. -Comfortable using technology to enhance the traditional construction process. -Proven track record of bringing projects in on time and on budget. -Manage and oversee work sites for both new construction and remodel projects, coordinating site activities and assuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives. -Oversee and provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors when doing groundwork ensuring quality standards are met. -Coordinate with the project management team to ensure on time and on budget delivery of projects. -Visit potential project sites early on in the estimating process for initial evaluation and assist the sales team with working with the client. -Coordinate between engineers, designers, and others working on the project. -Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources. -Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues. -Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements -Coordinate meetings with outside contractors, consultants and financial partners. -Facilitates interactions between homeowners and contractors to have seamless communication -Problem solver when running into situations that needs a resolution -Network with General contractors and sub contractors on regular basis -Problem solver when facing construction complications We currently have over 100+ projects that need to be actively managed making this a key-role position.
