TC Fiction Book Club November Meetings: For the month of November, the TC Fiction Book Club is reading and discussing Hex by Rebecca Dinerstein Knight at the Colfax Avenue, McGregor Square, and Aspen Grove Location. 15 ticketed spots are available for 3 pm on November 21st, 2021. General Description: The TC Fiction Book Club -- previously known as the TCAG Fiction Book Club and originally stationed at the Aspen Grove location -- is an upbeat group of individuals who love good fiction writing. We read any genre of fiction -- including contemporary, mystery, a little science fiction, and more -- with a refreshing mix of paperback and hardcover books, from new releases to century-old classics, from short story collections to full blown novels. If you are looking to broaden your fiction horizons, join us! Moderator Bio - Aspen Grove Portia Graf oversees Tattered Cover's entire book club program, connecting staff members and the community through the love of books. She is the moderator for the TC Fiction Book Club and co-moderator for the TC Teen Book Club, and mother of three adorable little kitty babies that often like to join the conversation. She is an aspiring author and creative writing major from the University of Colorado in Denver, and is native to the state of Colorado. Some of her favorite books include Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz, anything with Batman in the title, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and shamelessly The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer (just to name a few… of a million) Moderator Bio - McGregor Square At C.U. Boulder Andrea majored in biology and French and dreamed of working with people like Jacques Cousteau, Jane Godal, Dian Fossey. She landed at Tattered Cover in 1993 and has been able to “work” with them all, through books, sharing their stories and ideas and the satisfaction of exploring the universe of information with readers. For nearly 20 years, she’s been the moderator for the TC Lodo Book Club, and now she’s moderating the TC Science and Nature Book Club and TC Fiction Book Club at our McGregor Square location. Moderator Bio - Colfax Avenue Hannah Scott is the Outside Sales Developer for the Tattered Cover Bookstore, and has been with Team Tattered since March 2021. While she likes to say she will read anything and everything, her favorites to lose a weekend to are good sci-fi or a good romance.
