Description

During this 8-hour course, participants will have an opportunity to deepen their skills, knowledge, and application of new skills. During this 8-hour course, participants will have an opportunity to deepen their skills, knowledge, and application of mentoring and educational opportunities for peers in recovery. Participants will learn about ways to develop peer mentoring relationships and how to be a better mentee. Participants will also learn the importance of group and psychoeducation. Throughout the course of this training, participants will deepen their knowledge of all the core competencies for Mentoring/Education. A 501(c)3 nonprofit located in Frederick County, We provide peer support to those with mental health and substance use challenges.
