Mayor Michael Lavorata has requested flags to be flown at half-staff at all Village of Lindenhurst buildings and grounds in honor of the victims of Thursday's suicide bombings in Afghanistan. 13 U.S. Troops, and nearly 95 Afghans, died in the attacks.
Mayor Lavorata said, "Please pause and pray for the souls of all whose lives were taken due to these senseless acts of terror."
