NEW BERLIN, WI — The City of New Berlin announced on Facebook construction is beginning Friday on 124th Street between Greenfield Avenue and Meadow Lane. The closure comes with private construction for a pipeline. Intercon Construction is in charge of the work being done, the City said in the post. A detour route using Meadow Lane and Elm Grove Road will be posted, the post said. The closure is not a part of a city-related project but is expected to take two weeks until completion.
