Come and meet the community service professional volunteers at Northwest Rotary Club, members of Rotary International, the largest service organization in the world. Rotary has a mission of World Peace through service, locally and worldwide, for people and communities. Learning more about our community, outreach, and being good neighbors is how a Rotary Club finds service projects to support people and communities. We do that at lunch meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month, where we enjoy fellowship and learn. In existence since 1956, Northwest Rotary Club and its members have created a sizeable Charitable Fund to help support its charities. Rotary is especially well structure for working people, from home or office, as well as stay at home spouses, searching for a way to help the communtiy, learn participation and leadership, and those making new contacts and friends Lunch is served at Outback Steakhouse for $16 per person. You can attend Zoom for free, or the meeting with the lunch, after registering here. You might consider joining Rotary for the following reasons: * Community Service and learning more about the community * Ethical Leadership Opportunities/Business Contacts * Global Service to Humanity/Mission of World Peace through service We urge you to join us to support the San Antonio Food Bank, Salvation Army Children's Shelter, Morgan's Wonderland, Robyn's N.E.S.T., a mobile literacy service, and the Rotary International Foundation with their worldwide polio and covid vaccination programs, in the effort to help others in our community during these difficult times. Since 1956, Northwest Rotary Club has helped a number of charities, locally and globally, and has provided scholarships for promising students for college and professional/technical training over many years, that improved lives of people in need and communities. Rotary Clubs uniquely support the community they are located in, and support the world peace mission of Rotary International. Find out more about Rotary at www.rotary.org.
