Holi-dine on the River Walk is a Drinks & Dinner Progressive Culinary Adventure – Walking Tour - Brought to you by Rio Magazine's Food & Drink Writer, Kimberly Suta 1st Stop: Cocktails & Apps at Esquire Tavern’s Downstairs Bar This first stop at the historic Esquire Tavern’s Downstairs Bar, located on the River Walk level, is known for their speakeasy vibe, craft cocktails and elevated bar eats. Cocktails (choose one): Classic Old Fashioned, Bexar Hug (Blanco Tequila, guava, fresh lime juice, sparkling wine) or a Holiday Cocktail. Appetizers (all): Beef Chalupita (with chipotle refried beans, sour cream chimichurri, white cheddar, salsa verde), Shrimp Cocktail & Deviled Eggs (free range eggs, candied pink peppercorns and cornichons). 2nd Stop: Main Course at Paesanos Riverwalk (Entrées Individually Plated) Get ready for a scrumptious and hearty dinner at upscale Italian restaurant, Paesanos, a popular staple in San Antonio for over 50 years! Dinner Includes: Warm House Bread, Iced Tea and your choice of their classic Shrimp Paesano (with spaghetti and lemon butter garlic), Chicken Parmigiana (with spaghetti, tomato sauce and cheese), Veal Marsala (with mushrooms and fettuccine) or Mushroom All’ Arrabbiata (a vegetarian and gluten-free option of portobella mushrooms, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, zucchini, squash, basil pesto and spicy tomato sauce). 3rd Stop: Dessert at Kilwins Chocolate Shop We cap off the tour with a final stop at one of San Antonio’s finest chocolate shops, located just off the River Walk in Alamo Plaza, a few minutes walk from the Alamo.
