WALLINGFORD, CT — Police have announced a road closure and parking bans that will be in effect on Halloween night due to an expected large volume of pedestrians expected in the North Main Street area. Road Closure: North Main Street, between the intersection of High Street and Cedar Lane, will be closed to all motor vehicle traffic starting at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. Parking Prohibitions: There will be no parking on North Main Street between High Street and Cedar Lane starting at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31. Residents are reminded that vehicles parked in violation of this prohibition will be subject to the issuance of a parking ticket by police and removal by tow truck.
