Rockwood Property Management is looking for Commercial Custodian to join our growing team. Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining the property common areas and grounds in a clean and attractive condition. Position Responsibilities: Conducts daily inspections of all common areas within the assigned property and building exteriors Removes trash and visible debris from interior and exterior of buildings Janitorial duties as assigned including but not limited to cleaning windows, shining brass fixtures, sweeping storage closets, and emptying trash cans Provide emergency janitorial duties when janitorial contractors are unavailable Provide weekly report and ongoing feedback to janitorial contractors Replaces light bulbs in lighting fixtures Assists in inventory control and upkeep of equipment and supplies Set up, tear down, and clean-up of conference rooms Assist with emergency maintenance or on-call services Assist the maintenance staff as needs arise Assist with parking lot patrols and parking lot surveys as needed Reports any problems observed on the property to the supervisor Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills and Experience: Working knowledge of basic maintenance tools required to perform the job duties Basic computer knowledge and skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Minimum Qualifications Required: High school education and/or technical skills training preferred Rockwood Property Management offers salaries which are competitive and commensurate with experience.
