You are cordially invited to attend the Fall 2021 Onyx Celebration hosted by the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization. You are cordially invited to attend the Fall 2021 Onyx Celebration hosted by the Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization.  The Onyx Celebration is a pre-commencement ceremony recognizing the success, accomplishments, and achievements of students that have completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This celebration honors the graduates and the community that has helped them reach this milestone. Graduates will be presented with kente stoles, symbolizing their achievements were made possible through past contributions and sacrifices of ancestors and present support of friends and loved ones. Please join us as we send our students off into new beginnings. The Onyx Celebration will take place at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Midtown II Ballroom in the GT Exhibition Hall. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Each graduate is allowed up to 2 guests and should include them in their RSVP below.
