CHP Trying To Locate Owner Of Display Case Found Near Livermore

LIVERMORE, CA – The California Highway Patrol is attempting to locate the ownership of a piece of someone's family history after officers located a military display case with an American flag and the portrait of a solider this week. The CHP said in a social media post that the display was located on Interstate 580 near Isabel Avenue in Livermore. This black and white photo of a solider is enclosed in the case, which was found on I-580 this week by CHP officers. (CHP photo) The CHP post said that they had hoped someone would have claimed the display case but that no one has stepped forward. CHP officials are asking that if a family member or friend of the owner recognizes the display to call (925) 828-0466.
