UNIONTOWN, PA — A Fayette County woman has been charged with homicide in connection with her 11-year-old son's death in August.
According to court documents, Ashleigh Lee, 35, called 911 from her home on Aug. 12 and said the child was unresponsive.
An autopsy revealed the boy had fentanyl, heroin and morphine in his system, according to police. The cause of death was determined to be acute combined drug toxicity.
In addition to the homicide accusation, Lee has been charged with endangering the welfare of children and reckless endangering another person.
She is being held in the Fayette County Jail pending a Nov. 9 preliminary hearing before District Judge Michael Metros.
