EAGAN, MN — Blue Cross Blue Shield announced that it had promoted Dana Erickson to CEO and president, according to a report by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The Eagan health insurer's last permanent CEO was Dr, Craig Samitt, who retired in May, the publication reported. He was temporarily replaced by an interim CEO before Erickson was named the permanent replacement, the report said.
