House Manager for classical choral concert

We need someone to manage front of house for a classical choral concert on Saturday evening, November 20 at a church in Berkeley. The House Manager will supervise volunteer ushers, handle audience problems, and coordinate with the stage manager to start the concert. There will be no ticket sales or will call at the door and no money will be involved on the night of the concert. All audience, staff and volunteers must show proof of vaccination and a photo ID along with their tickets. Ushers will check this at the entrance. The House Manager must arrive at 5:30 p.m., two hours before the concert, which is about an hour long, and stay until all ushers have swept the venue for programs, lost and found, etc. and checked out. The House Manager will also purchase bouquets of flowers (costs reimbursed) if s/he has a vehicle. Experience with front of house necessary.
