Local leather goods company is hiring a manufacturing shop assistant. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Ability to read and interpret patterns• Manual dexterity• Visual acuity• Ability to lift totes 10lbs.-25lbs.• The ability to use hand, eye and foot coordination to operate small machines and hand tools• Skills in working with your hands to perform exact detailed operations. EFFORT• Sits for 8 hours per day or more as needed• Occasional bending and stooping (less than two hours per day)• Grasping and pushing (8 hours per day)• Wrist flexion/extension (8 hours per day)• Occasional lifting (10-25lbs.)
