Our work environment includes: On-the-job training International workforce Flexible working hours Regular social events Wellness programs Growth opportunities Maintenance Assistant Summary: The Maintenance Tech will perform the day-to-day operation as directed by the Environmental Services Director, to include: · Perform daily work orders · Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the residents · Apartment turnovers · Maintaining interior & exterior lighting Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · At least two years knowledge in building maintenance · Solid understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical · Basic understanding of safety and fire codes · Able to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interest · Exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people · Possesses the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English · Possesses the ability to multi-task Reports to the Environmental Services Director Duties and responsibilities: · Prepare apartment(s) for new residents · Paint common area’s as needed, to include: 1. Hallways 2. Stairwells 3. Community rooms 4. Dining rooms 5. Offices · Respond in a timely manner to request and concerns from: 1. Residents 2. Family members 3. Team members · Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Lead Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All employees must wear a mask and follow and WA State DOH guidelines provided to Assisted Living Communities. As of October 18th, all employees must be able to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination status or have been approved for one of two exemptions.
